After a defensive stop against Jarrett Allen, Tobias Harris made two free throws with 4.8 seconds remaining and the Sixers won.

Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 31 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists and six blocked shots.

Embiid, who had been listed as doubtful, started for the Sixers after missing Game 3 with left knee soreness.

Harris added 24 points while Ben Simmons had 15 points, eight rebounds and eight assists.

The game became quite chippy with 7:42 left in the third after Embiid committed a hard foul on Allen. There was a lot of pushing and shoving between multiple players on both teams. Dudley and Philadelphia's Jimmy Butler were each ejected in the aftermath of a scuffle and Embiid was given a flagrant 1 foul.

Embiid's layup with 8:37 left got the Sixers within 94-93.

Allen responded with a two-handed dunk to put the Nets back ahead by three at 96-93.

The Sixers missed nine of their last 10 treys and then Russell hit a deep 3-pointer for a 99-93 Brooklyn advantage.

Embiid posted up and hit a spinning shot off the backboard to get the 76ers within 101-98 with 4:22 remaining. A vicious dunk by Embiid then closed the lead to 101-100.

The Nets went ahead 106-104 after Russell knocked down a trey with 1:26 remaining.

JJ Redick then drained a clutch 3-pointer to give the Sixers a 107-106 advantage with 50 seconds left.
